Create White Drop Shadow Using Track Motion?

I'm trying to use Track Motion's 2D Shadow to create a drop shadow beneath a white image. All goes well until I change the shadow from default black to white. As the color gets closer and closer to white, it vanishes, until it's completely gone.

Is there no way to create a white shadow?

use 2D Glow instead of Drop Shadow. Don't know why, but drop shadow has always acted this way.
