Creating chapter (?) buttons for movie

I've just completed my first Blu-ray project (approx 15 mins) and the picture quality looks good. But I just cannot see how to create buttons on the title page of the project that link to specific chapter points I've created on the timeline. This must be described in the manual, I'm sure, but I couldn't really make head nor tail of it!

I would welcome some simple instructions how to do this, please - I'm not looking for anything fancy, just buttons that link directly to discrete sections of the video.

I have looked at the dvd re adding chapter points along the video timeline, and have successfully added markers to my video. However, in contrast to doing this when creating a DVD, the Bluray disc generated does not display any small scenes relating to these selected points on the timeline. (When playing the title screen of a commercial dvd, for example, there is usually an option to view scenes of the dvd as small buttons. Clicking on a button starts the dvd playing at this point. I want to have the same option in the bluray disc I generate. All I currently have is a 'next' button that I can use to scroll through the available markers on the video, and when I click on any one marker, the video starts at this point. My video lasts 1.25 hours, and I need to be able to view previews of the first frames of these video segments, so I can then click on the scene I want to play, without scrolling through all the markers I have inserted until I get to the relevant one.

Is this possible in Sony Vegas? I've done similar things in Videostudio (although not using hd footage / bluray).

I'd be happy to hear from any users who have managed to create these selection buttons.

I think this is what you want. You can leave out the introductory video if you so wish and just keep to the buttons. I would advise having pen and paper to hand when watching and make a note of the menu structure on the left for future reference. In fact this video was actually provided in the link I gave you last time (first video in the list) although it was probably the title that threw you.

Thank you - will have another go at doing this asap. I must say I'm impressed with the final quality of the HD video when viewed on tv.
