Creating "motion menu buttons"

Two questions:
Can DVD Architect create "motion menu buttons"? That is, when your main menu is showing, the video clip buttons show a short 10 second (or whatever) clip of the video that plays when you click it.

I've done this easily in other DVD programs like Sonic, but can't seem to find how to do it in DVDA.

Second, but similar question, if you want a still button, can you tell it what frame show, instead of it showing the first frame of your video?
i.e. I have a video of a birthday party, but the first frame of the video is just of a wall or whatever, but maybe 30 seconds into the clip is a frame of the cake, and I want that to be what the button shows.

I know I can freeze and save a JPG of the frame I want and do it that way, but I'm talking about an option in DVDA that lets you select the frame. Again, Sonic could do this easily, I just don't know how to do it in DVDA.

(and I'm not trying to make Sonic look good, it's just what I used before I purchased Vegas Studio, which I LOVE!!)

Select the button then go to Media > Thumbnail Properties > Style, and change Still to Animated, Menu length can be specified under General.

To change a thumbnail still, select the button then go to Media > Thumbnail Propeties > Start time. Click on the right hand side to bring up a slider to select still frame or you can type in timecode.

You can also use any other still or video clip, whether it's part of the clip in question or not.

Thanks Peter!

I figured DVDA could somehow do what I needed, I'm just not quite used to the "look and feel" of it yet compared to the other apps I've used.

I have found though, that it (and Vegas Studio) can do everything I need so far, and doesn't crash.
