Creating new clips in Vegas 4

I have a single long clip in the media pool. I place it on the timeline and split it into 10 sections. I now want to put each of these 10 sections back into the media pool and have them exisit as 10 new clips. How do I get them back into the media pool please?

You will have to render each one as a separate clip.
