I had a Heroglyph one time.

The doctor gave me a shot for it and it cleared right up.

It works very nice, it is a but strange at first but if you just use the presets to start off with you can do more. I tried it becuase I heard people rave about how easy it was to make 3-d title with it. I must admit that it goes a bit deeper than that however. You can do masking and layers and have titles going behind objects in your shots. it does allow you to create better looking titles than Vegas can do by deafult so if that is what you want to do download the demo and give it a try.

I've never worked directly with Heroglyph, but have seen several very impressive titles created with it. I just recently picked it up, along with Adorage's plug in for Vegas.

Thanks. This one is completely new to me. Does look interesting. Their site must be busy because I cant' get the divx samples to play. I'm sure I have the basic divx codec installed. Anyway, I'm going to do some more reading up on it. I bought an inexpensive little program from Wildform the other day that supposedly lets you "easily" create and output AVI's of lots of different text effects, but I haven't had a chance to play with it, yet.
