Haven't seen this one yet. If it states "OHCI Compliant 1394" then it should work.

Here's a better question... Is anyone considering buying this card? It looks like Creative has once again pushed the top of the consumer line just a bit toward the bottom of the "prosumer" region. The thing is, while the specs look really attractive...:

- 24bit, 96kHz output
- 100dB S/N ratio
- ASIO support
- Dolby 5.1
- S/PDIF, optical, and line inputs

... I can't believe the max recording depth is 16 bits and 48kHz. To me, 24/96 recording would be this card's selling point to a lot of small home studio artists or musicians. The Live! Platinum was first designed to be aimed at musicians, so a 24/96-capable card would seem like the next obvious step, wouldn't it? And I know it's not like the SoundBlaster line is going to lose any support here, since they are, after all, the Microsoft of soundboards. It just seems like Creative is really dropping the ball for small home studio enthusiasts...
