Eugenia,

Eleven extra keystrokes please.

[ url ] at the beginning and [ / url ] at the end. (remove spaces). I know you know how, it's just a habit thing.

Hi MSmart,
I MStupid ;) I didn't understand your message to Eugenia. Is that a way to put hyperlinks in messages?? I always wondered how people do that. If that is what you were explaining to her, could you give me just a bit more details? I would appreciate it. Take care. Cin

Hi OhMy

Pls see Sticky nr. 3 in the top of this forum.

Actually it's [ link ] and [ /link ]

Kelly, you're right, as per how it's documented in the sticky. However url /url also works as that's the way I enter them here and on other forums. An undocumented feature as it were.

I like using [ url= urlpath]LINK NAME [ /url ] where LINK NAME is what you see in the post rather than the full url.

As in New Markup for Forum Posts.

Oh, you can check this out: Link Creator

Thanks ritsmer,
I had actually read that sticky long ago, but was unable to understand what it meant at the time. I think being more computer literate now, I might actually be able to do some of that. Thank you for the help. Cin
