If I put in the velocity envelope to slow down the roll speed (way to fast)
the titles blink like stars at night after default rendering and viewing with
player7.1 (direct x 8.1) Font size is 22 and if I go to bold it helps a lot
but does not eliminate. You can observe the blinking during rendering in the
preview window. I tried different colors with green seeming to be the least
affected. I tried bluring it a smidge but not good enough. There are no
instructions on how to use the timeline in the credit roll menu on the bottom.
(I'm just a dummy and need instructions to function in this high tech world).
Also there is no provision for start pre-delay or stop pre-delay. It seems if
I use the default speed that there is no blinking.
I have junked using Pinnacle DC-2000 with Adobe Premier 6.0c because
I liked the Vegas so much more for its timelne stability (regardless of clip
length) and ease of use. The mpeg-2 codec in Vegas is better than Pinnacle
for DVD recording and more adjustable.
PS.---The Canopus ADVC-100 should be a Vegas Video option when purchasing.
thank you, JJK
