Credits Editing

I did an archive search and it looks like you still can't edit credits? BTW, I've used this program for about 150 hours on one project and the only time it crashed was when I tried to change a credit line. Much better than the 50 or more crashes I would've gotten in the same amount of time spent with Pinnacle Studio.

Bob

I haven't tried it, but I thought that had been fixed - I'll try this evening and let you know if noone else has replied.

Do you have 3.0b? I had no problem with it. To compare I tried 3.0 -- that was useless.

Yes, I have the most recent build. What am I doing wrong? I have a long credit roll and am bound to make at least one mistake. I don't see how to edit once you've done your credits.

Hello, have you tried clicking on the FX icon on the event/credit roll media - at the tab Text/Backdrop. - double-click on the the line you want to edit.
That works for me.

Csheng,

Doh! I tried it, it works fine. Thanks much. It looks like you cannot insert a new line between two credit lines, is that correct? I'll just have to be real careful, but at least I know I can correct any spelling errors. Thanks again.

Best,

Bob

If you copy a line and then paste it back onto the "style" icon at the left edge, it should create a 2nd copy of the line which you can then edit. In fact, you should be able to paste as many blank lines as you wish this way.
