crop a circle

Hi, I am using VMS HD Platinum (production suite) and I have a picture of some bricks with a cool design and of course it is a sqaure picture. I want to cut a circle out of the picture. Can that be done?

The easiest way to do this is to use the Cookie Cutter effect. You can also feather the edge and/or make a boarder around the circle.

Another way is to use a mask from a .png image w/ transparent alpha channel and place it on the top video track.

Thanks Byron!! The cookie cutter worked perfect. I saved that to a jpg and now I have a great looking planet flying by the screen.
