Hi -
I am using Vegas Studio HD 11. I'm working with HDV footage (1440x1080 60i) that was captured in Studio.
The problem occurs when I create a cross fade. As the first video fades out, 2 or 3 frames (or maybe fields) that exist at the END of the 2nd clip (on the disk) show up, then the crossfade continues normally. These extra frames have been trimmed off the time line.
The extra frames are NOT in the time line; I "verified" this by using the arrow keys with the 2 clips separated, and the frames do not show up at the end of the clip. But when I slide the 2nd clip over to vreate the cross fade (1-2sec.) the extra frames show up...
Using the arrow keys I can see the extra -misplaced - frames; They also show up in the rendered copy.
What's even more frustrating is the fact that not every cross fade had this problem, and I haven't figured out if there is a pattern as to which cross fades have the problem !
Has anyone seen this before?
John
