Crossfade problem in Vegas 11

MTuggy wrote on 10/31/2011, 11:37 PM
I'd be curious if anyone else can replicate this. I have a project with a slow Zoom A/B crossfade near the end of the video (the only non-standard transition). When it rendered, it was off-center during the zooming in phase then jumped to a centered more zoomed out view at the end of the transition. Very odd looking.

I replaced the crossfade with a Gradient Wipe. When I rendered that, it was exactly the same as above - never implemented the Gradient Wipe at all. Weird.

I'll report this as a potential bug. Simple crossfades and page wipes work fine.

Hmmm.... I cannot replicate. I used generated media in a 1280x720 29.97 fps project. Rendered to MainConcept 1280x720 29.97 fps .mp4. Here's the Vegas 11 project: ZoomTransition.zip

Here's the result:

Could this have something to do with your source footage or project properties or render settings?

Whoops! in re-reading the OP, I'm not sure if MTuggy was referring to the Zoom transition or the Cross Effect transition. I any case, here's the Cross Effect test.

Both projects are in the download zip.

Whoops! Again. Try 'em now. I clicked the YT "Private" checkbox instead of "Unlisted".

Yep, I can get it to work in Vegas 11 32 bit. I'm betting this is a temporary bug that in the file I was working in.

New patch today - I'll see if it still is an issue in the 64 bit version tonight.
