CTASIO Warning!

Once upon a time I had a Creative Audigy2 sound card - now removed. I have integrated MB sound and my FW410. My OPTIONS are set to use the FW410 as the audio device.

When ever I start Vegas6 it is looks like its looking for some Creative drivers 'cos it gives a CTASIO Warning that says "There are no Creative audio products installed and running on the system that support ASIO"

How do I get rid of this?

I had the same thing. I ended up deleting all folders named "Creative" in my registry. The problem disappeared after that.

I have removed maybe 60 items from the registry with no effect. I removed the Creative ASIO folder from the Vegas section for sure. I don't understand as I'ver removed all Creative software why my reg cleaner (SM5) has not done its job.

I wouldn't recommend using registry cleaners, I've never heard of them fixing anything and in some cases they totally mess up your computer.
