Ctrl+Drag--copy option no longer works

I use ctrl+drag of video events very often. I will drag an event to somewhere else while holding the ctrl key. When I drop it, a dialog box asks me if I want to create a new event or create a link to the original.

However, I no longer receive this dialog box giving me a choice--it always just links to the original. That means: if I change the new copy, it also changes the original.

Is there an option somewhere that got selected or cleared to stop this option?

Thanks

Are you talking video? Or generated Media? I just tested with a piece of generated media and DID get that question. You don't get that question with video.

Generated media. I usually drag video titles that way. I make all my settings just the way I want them, then just drag the video title to a new location, where it asks me if I want to copy it or create a link. I create a new copy, then just change my wording on the titles. I have done it this way dozens of times, but all of a sudden it will not ask me the question anymore.

I don't understand why.

This definitely still works ok here with V5 - I also use it all the time for titles and captions.

I'd have a go reinstalling.
