Ctrl+Drag = Copy?!?? Seessh . .

I'll own up here . .

How long have I been using Vegas? (since VV3) Have I known about this? (Yes!) Have I even ever BOTHERED to use it? (NO = Twit!)

If you haven't done so - give it a whirl!! Copy stuff now - THAT I DON'T EVEN need too - just to see it working!

What a product?!?? But it does need someone to fly it, properly . .

Grazie

(ps: my partner just told me it is the same in EXCEL!!!)

Great, kid. Don't get cocky.

Control+Drag is the standard shortcut for copying in Windows and Windows apps. Adobe, of course (in their wisdom), use Alt+Drag (which is incredibly frustrating)...

Yeah gods man,
not only have I been using this since day one, I've been posting about the dangers of it. At least in V7 it copies everything in the Group unless you disable that action in the prefs.

If you don't watch very carefully you can get some hidden, unexpected results, like TWO copies of the video, overlayed!

I have noticed some shenanigans going on with copy/paste/drag with doubleing up of stuff.
