I’ve used Vegas for many years. I’ve had Pro 21 for three days, and at first it worked perfectly. Now, all of a sudden, the “Ctrl-Z” shortcut has gone haywire. Instead of undoing only the most recent edit, it undoes the last five edits simultaneously– even it that includes edits made before the last save.
The “Undo” Edit pull-down is operating correctly. But of course I’m constantly using Ctrl-Z doing complex editing – certainly hundreds of times in a day – so that’s not a viable alternative.
Ctrl-Z works still works correctly in my Pro 19 (which was my previous version – but unfortunately 19 is now useless as all colors are inverted when rendered).
I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled Pro 21 multiple times, with no change.
In the Customize Keyboard function, “Edit.Undo” still shows Ctrl-Z as the assigned shortcut, as it should. I’ve tried deleting this assignment and assigning it again. I’ve tried assigning other keystrokes. Wondering if somehow the two functions got reversed, I’ve even tried assigning Cntr-Z to “UndoAll” (which is precisely what it’s doing in error). But nothing will let me use keystrokes to undo only the last edit.
Ctrl-Y (redo event) works correctly.
Any ideas?
