Curious blur in slide show?

Have 157 pics and a soundtrack. Laid in the soundtrack and did the math for event length and overlap. Got pretty close when I used a new script to alter the event length and overlap from a previous setting. Added random transitions script and rendered to a new track. Took the new track and control-dragged it out the additional 5% I needed to match the audio. Rendered that to .avi and prepared and burned a DVD without a thought.

In the final, control dragged out new track,.avi almost every still has a focus drift effect. Sharp, slightly out, sharp, and so on. NTSC DV interlaced. No video FX. Some pan/crop, but doesn't seem related. I thought I was being clever by rendering my "approximate" video to a single file, and then control dragging that to a final timeing required.

Clueless. TIA, Darryl

Not sure cause I just did my slideshows in DVD-A. But in this thread:

Someone was talking to me about using 0 velocity video clips(ie stills). He said when using them you needed to set the resampling to off. Perhaps this must be done in your case?

Hmmmm. Good answer, I think I see the logic. Gonna redo and give that a try. Thanks Jayson, Darryl
