I think you may need that video. I tried versions 18 and 20 and both behaved the same when moving Pan/Crop keyframes.

Here it is. Everytime I try to drag the keyframe the cursor goes on the spot that the keyframe initially was.

You are right, V19 does this, but V12 does not. As a workaround you can rightclick on the keyframe and move it. Requires an extra step. Don't know if they will change it back to the way it was.

Wondering if there is a setting that can toggle that. Or if there isn't, could we suggest that as an update?

Versions 16 and 17 did not move the cursor position when clicking to move the keyframe. Versions 18, 19, and 20 do. I didn't go older than 16. Is there a problem with it doing that? I'm not seeing any issues because that now happens.

You can hold down the SHIFT key and click and drag and it won't move the cursor. However, it appears it does select ALL keyframes between the cursor and the keyframe you click on and moves them all.

Yeah it's kind of an issue because I usually use the cursor lock to get the cursor position from the main timeline and then I move the keyframe that I want, to the position of the cursor. The problem with that is when I press on the keyframe to drag it, the cursor loses its original position so I don't know at which frame to place my keyframe.

Did you try my workaround?

jetdv wrote on 9/9/2022, 3:16 PM

Either right-click or shift-click should work fine for you.

It works, however I can't use that method to move multiple keyframes at the same time.

If the keyframes are consecutive, hold rightclick and draw window over keyframes, then rightclick select one and move it.
EDIT never mind, that moves the cursor.

Okay, select the keyframes using CTRL and then rightclick on one to move. That moves multiple keyframes

Didn't know you could do that!

I edited my above, see if that works for you.

That works! Would be nice if they did what I suggested though or if they just made it how it was in older versions!
Also thanks for the help!
