In prehistory Vegas (Sonic times I think, version 4 or 5...), the pan / crop window once had curve tracks with Bezier handles (as far as I remember) making it possible to fine tune pan or crop movements... I always wondered why those were taken away ? If no compelling  reason can be invoked as to why they were removed, it would be so useful to have them back !
