Custom Anitmated Button

Anyone have experiance makming custom animated buttons?
I have a digital juice frame that has Animated image and animated matching seperate alpha as a black and white.
Setting the FrameMedia as the animated movie and the frame mask as the alpha movie has mixed results. When chossing animated as the button syle, the frame media plays, but it seems that the alpha does not, so there is black spots left after elements of the frame movie has moved, but the alpha has not moved with it.
Does DVD A not support moving Masks for the frame media?
Thanks to all.
Erik

I eventually figured it out. I re-encoded the motion frame as an uncompressed avi with alpha, removed the mframe mask and enabled the alpha on the frame medi properties. Big files but it got the desired result.

Unfortunately it does look like The frame media mask uses any knid on motion, it just stays on the first frame of the animation even when animation is enabled.

Thanks for the help

What I end up doing is edit the menu in Vegas, and then bringing it in as a background and use a transparent button. Helps cut down on the file size. I have always wished the DVD Arch would be friendly with button and text, but it just seems to treat these things as minor points. I worked on creating custom menus with motion about a year ago for my business and have been using them for the past year, but in order to make it an ease to load with a new file, I kinda have to back door it, and force DVD Arch to look for missing files, which I swap in for the ones I want. Not exactly perfect, but it does save time.

For what it is worth,
