custom button

Please help. After selecting "render as" under the file menu I can't find the "custom" button that is mentioned in the help screens and manuals. I've looked under all file types and templates to no avail. I'd like to pick my own bit rates on mpeg-1 and mpeg-2 files. Thanks.

There should be four rectangular buttons on the rhs of the Render As window: Save, Cancel, CUSTOM and About ...

Thanks for the reply Peter, but I have NO buttons on the render window. I'm wondering if there is a setting in the XP appearance setup that I may have triggered that is cutting the window off. I'm away from home at the moment so can't work the problem.

So... if you have NO buttons at all on the Rendar As window... how on earth can you render at all? Is there no SAVE button even?

Sounds like you need to re-install vegas at the very least.
