CUSTOM button won't work when rendering MPEG2

For some reason my I'm no longer able to set customized parameters to a MPEG2 render. I beleive it started when I had to re-install my windows and all the software. I must have made something wrong while entering mainconcepts serial number !
I tried Uninstalling vegas but it seems that MainConcept's registration code doesn't get erased. The problem persists !

PLEASE HELP

this has been covered a bit - doa forum search on custom - you need to delete a regkey and restart vegas - easy fix

Try this link:

Here's what it says:

There seems to be a problem with that, and it has nothing to do with registration. I fixed the problem after reading one of the threads here (can't remember exactly which). Look in your registry, and make sure it only has these entries, and nothing else. I do remember that one additional entry has to be deleted. Back up the branch (export) before you delete, so you can restore if things mess up.

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Sonic Foundry\MC MPEG Plug-In\1.0\License]
"CurrentKey"="XX-XXXXXX-XXXXXX-XXXXXX"
"InstFlags"=dword:00000010

(you shoud see letters and digits instead of the X's here...)"
