I just recently got a mouse that has extra buttons I can program in hopes of increasing my productivity. There are three things I would really like to create hot keys for but I don't know if its possible.

The first one is I'd like to be able to click on a clip in project media and then push a button to open it in the trimmer. I was about to create a command to do this in the timeline, and I tried a few actions but getting seem to find the only to do it in project media.

The other two are in reference to the editing tool, normally control D brings you back to the normal edit tool. I would love it if I could create a hot key to bring up the time compress tool or the split tool. but this may not be possible. I've tried adding commands to what I thought was the action but nothing worked, I'm guessing because it's still technically part of the of the normal tool. This is more useful for me for time compress so I don't have to hold down ctrl or two mouse buttons the whole time but sometimes the split too is useful too if I'm going to chop up a clip a bunch of times and it doesnt have to be specific.
