Custom Templates Stopped Working

Hello I am working with VV 4.0 and the Main Concept Mpeg 1.0 Plugin. After purchasing the plugin today, I gleefully played with its compression and made several new templates that are optimized to my likings. After quitting out of everything for awhile, I started Vegas again and now when I click on the Custom button to create a new template, it does nothing. Clicking Custom will not activate the pop-up menu under Mpeg1 and Mpeg2. I can however, continue to do templates for any other video format.

It does seem to be recognizing my registration, because I am still able to render in the mpeg templates that I created earlier, but I can no longer alter or make new ones. Anyone have experience with this issue?

-Edit: It appears my main Vegas Video help has stopped working as well. Whats going on?!

Bump* I feel like the program is falling apart under my fingers and I really dont' want to go and try to use this disgusting pirated version of Premiere.

What happens if you uninstall both Vegas and the Main Concept plugin, then reinstall just Vegas?

I'm not sure why you got the Main Concept plugin separately. Vegas already includes Main Concept's MPEG plugin right out of the box.

I don't understand what you mean by "PURCHASING" the MC plug-in which is INCLUDED free of charge with Vegas unless you also purchased the MC encoder directly from Main Concept which can be bought seperately and be free standing meaning it isn't restricted to use only with Vegas and while very similar, is a little different with the version coming with Vegas being tuned to work best with Vegas.

If you do have both, with one in the shared SonicFoundy shared folder and another installed elsewhere that may present a problem.

I didn't get it seperately. After installing Vegas, it required me to register the Main Concept plugin to use it (whether it was importing mpegs or encoding videos as mpegs)

About to reinstall again to see
