Cut out frames

I would like to cut a section of an imported screen capture AVI where I botched the audio. How can I remove several seconds from the middle of the video and audio track?

Put your time indicator where you want to make your cut and hit 'S' for Split > then go to the other side and do the same > highlight and delete the unwanted section. Let us know. Cin
