Cut to the beat

Is there a Vegas scrpit that will take series of still shots and cut them to the beat of music track?

No. There is a script that will place images based on Markers but you'll have to place the markers at the beats. Search for "SlideshowToMarkers".

My preferred way of doing this is to use a script I wrote where you count the number of beats or measures (bars if you prefer!) in a range, then it sets the tempo. You can then place clips on the grid..

It would only be a short hop from there to get to script to take all the images on the selected track and line them up on the grid, all with the correct length to make a seamless montage. Right Edward?
