Not sure if I can actually do what I want to.
I have a project with twelve tracks (a mixture of video and audio). At one point within the project I want to delete a section that is 10 seconds and 14 frames long. At this point there is only two tracks with events on and, using the ripple edit mode, these two tracks move up the timeline as expected. But waht I also want is for everything else on all other tracks after this cut to move up the timeline. How do I get this to happen? I have searched through the manual but cannot see what I am looking for. As a guess I think I may have to go through every event further up the timeline and group them together but that seems tedious and means that when I've done the cut I'll have to ungroup them.
I could move each event manually but that means being very careful to make sure everything is synchronised as before. Is there a way to achieve my goal automatically?
Thanks.
