Hey, i would like to know how i can cut out the background behind a moving person. I already know the simple masking method which i use for pictures often. In case of a video must i do this for every frame or is there another trick i can choose? My version is sony vegas 13 pro.

Depends on the background. I'd say, rotoscoping works for sure. That is to animate a mask frame by frame. If you have the luck, your background is consistently darker or lighter than your subject, or has few solid colors, you could use (couple of) secondary color corrector(s) along with brightness/contrast and mask generator to achieve a mask. And put that on a top track which is set to multiply...
