I noticed that AVCHD clips from my new CX-7 seem to have two audio options: Audio1 which is a stereo downmix of the 5.1 audio which the camera records, and Audio2 which is the actual 5.1 surround sound. Vegas defaults on the stereo option and If I select Audio2, nothing really happens and if I check back, Audio1 is still selected.

My editing setup is just stereo anyway so it's mostly curiosity at this point, but is there any way to access the 5.1 sound in Vegas 7e? Is this maybe one of the new features in Vegas 8? Enquiring minds want to know.
