Since you don't say how you are marking the tracks I'm guessing you are perhaps using the normal "M" markers (or "R" regions), which won't work.

To mark portions of audio as CD tracks you need to use the "N" CD track region markers.

If this isn't where you are going wrong, perhaps you could list, exactly and in detail, what you are doing and someone here will probably be able to see where your problem lies.

The flag says Track 1, etc. I am using the N to mark. I have tried it by marking the beginning of the recording and then marking between cuts. I've tried just marking between cuts (with error).
Marking the beginning, did not error but the Cd plays as one track.

Does Vegas display the tracks you have 'marked' on the timeline above the time graticule ? If not, then you haven't "N"ed them correctly.

If they do display, the maybe you CD writer needs a firmware update.

half flag at the beginning says Track 1, full flag in the middle says Track 2 and the half flag at the end just has -

I did get one to burn as 2 tracks the other night, but when I went to play it, the track change was off by like 10 minutes after where I had placed it.

Try zooming out the time scale - you'll probably find the track2 end flag way out somewhere to the right, probably at the end of the last event on the timeline.

You 'half flag' is a Track Start flag, and hangs to the right. A Track End flag hangs to the left (like me). Your 'full flag' must be start and end flags together. If there is a track 2 start, then there SHOULD be an end one.

Thanks for the help. I didn't change anything, but it is working, now...
