How I can change .Dat file (Movie file) to avi file for editing.
Is there any option or software to change it in that....?

.dat? That's a new one to me.

Do you know what program produced the file? What program do you use to play the file?

Hi, I think you should be able to bring it in directly to Moviestudio without doing any converting or changing. Just set your explorer in Moviestudio to view all files

Or try renaming them to .mpg if necessary.

a .DAT file contains the video on a VCD, if i recall correctly.
