We have videoed a conference using two V1P cameras, - a series of presentations over a number of days. One camera took a reasonably tight shot of the digital projector presentation screen, the second followed the presenter. The presentation screen appears in most scenes on both cameras. Our edit remit is to cut between the screen and the presenter and deliver the full presentation to the conference attendees.
We have a significant "refresh rate flicker" effect in all of our material on the data projection screen depiction. We had no ability to change the refresh rate of the data projector and did not realise it would be such an issue.
Can anyone give us some advice on the steps to take to minimise this refresh rate flicker of the projection screen without introducing problems in the non-screen areas?
Are there any plug-ins for Sony Vegas 9 Pro that assist with this issue?
(The videos were taken using HDV1080i (standard V1P settings) and we are editing for both PAL and .WMV delivery.)
Any guidance (or ideas) would be greatly appreciated!
Regards, Robert
