Datavideo DAC-100 or Canopus ADVC100 ?

Help?! which one would you guys suggest? (or should I go all out and get a panasonic minidv deck)

I use the Datavideo DAC-100 and it's worked great for me both as a capture unit and external monitor display unit. It's a hundred bucks cheaper than the Canopus too.
