Date/Time Stamp Sort Problem

Hi All,

I use the Date/Time Stamp field in the section to organize my clips. I then use this to organize them into my timeline by their date/time. The problem I have is when I try to sort in the media window by clicking on the field I do not get an accurate sort. I will get some clips that are fine and in order and others that are just wrong like December before August or even sequential clips that are backwords in time. Does everyone have this problem? Is there a way to get my clips into the timeline in the proper order without going through them one by one?

Thanks,
Tim

Not sure what you're using to capture with, but that is the #1 biggest reason I use Scenalyzer to capture video.

It adds the footage date/time stamp to the actual filename which means you can always sort it correctly be it in Vegas, Windows Explorer, anywhere.

Ditto for HDV using HDVSplit.
