Dazzle Hollywood and dropped frames

After capturing from an analog source using the Dazzle Hollywood DV bridge, Vegas claims that it has detected dropped frames. According to the progress meters on the right, while it is actually capturing, it says that the dropped frames were 0! It doesnt appear that there were any dropped frames during playback on Windows Media Player either. Is this a common error that others have encountered or is there actually dropped frames?

I also get that message. I think I read somewhere that issue will be addressed in the upcoming patch. Maybe we will be able to batch capture as well. I am currently using the LANC connection but VV3 does not see the time code from my camera while fastfwd/seeking. It seemed to work ok with Premiere.

I also experienced "dropped frame" reporting when capturing VHS.
I set up a test to capture 2 minutes. 30fps * 120 = 3600 frames
which is what I got. The capture program says it dropped 2200+
frames. I believe the discrepancy results from the incorrect length
that is reported in the capture program of 3:15. The extra 1:15
(75 * 30 = 2200+) accounted for the reporting of extra dropped frames.
