My son who heads a group of programers for SoundBlaster in
CA gave me last Christmas, VegasVideo editing program...
Now that is a great program, sure wish I would have had it
to do my editing when I was working (I was Co. photographer
for 20 yrs. @ Hyster Co. & did all the advertising still &
16mm MP work).. He also gave me a WinTV capture card
w/video/composite input (w/tuner)..
What I need is a way to get the edited work back out to
tape (VHS) so a producer friend gave me Pinnacles DC30D
card.. I asked Pinnacle if it would work with VV and they
said "NO".. They said to D/L an up grade for the board
(1.41).. When I installed the board it would not do
anything.. This board has Video/Svideo input & output..
At the moment I do not want to get into DV, I have a lot
of vhs tapes to work over..
So, thats my tail, my producer friend also gave me a
Pinnacle editing soft ware which really left me cold...
I have read back a lot of the Q/A's here and think there
are a bunch of very knowledgable people on here...
