Dead Pixel..........Help

I used my "inlaws" camcorder as a third camera for a shoot last weekend, and when I loaded the footage up on the timeline... right there....smack dab in the middle of the scene... there it was a DEAD PIXEL, burning white like a searing sun from a distant Galaxy... OK OK a little over dramatic ( watch to much Star Trek)

Anyway is there anything that I can do to get rid of it or mask it. Maybe others wont see it but I sure can and some of the footage I need in the multicam edit.. and it is realy quite annoying...

OK, first off, you can never, EVER watch too much Star Trek! - Was h your mouth out . . ..

Secondly, IF movement is taken into account you have an option of DOUBLING-up the Track to Track 1, getting busy with Masking T1 and offset the duped T1 track. using Pan/Crop. What you'd be doing is to move an itsy bitsy GOOD piece of T1 over the offending "hole". Does that make sense? I've done exactly this and it's quite acceptable.
