Hi Debbie,
I'll be holding a video course for employees in my daughter's kindergarten next year. I'll tell them about your project. How old were the kids?
And what's your new project about?
Tor
Maybe she's not.
Someone else may be able to tell me. They were second, third and fourth grade student at something called TAG. How old does that make them and what's TAG?
Tor
Debbie did an animation video project with a group of school kids last year. Some of us on this forum helped her along the way. The video was very impressing - still is to me - and I want to know how old the kids were. Someone else I know may want to do a similar project.
I suppose most of you Americans should know how old kids are when they are a second, third and fourth grade.

Hi guys,
I'm still around, but working on other kinds of projects. Thanks for the positive feedback about the animation project! We had a wonderful time. The kids were in second, third, and fourth grades--anywhere from 8 to 10 years old. The TAG program is a gifted enrichment program for students who excel at academics. If you don't have this in your schools, work hard for it. It gives gifted kids a chance to be really challenged with "real life" projects.
You all would be very proud to know that I figured out how to transfer the Vegas files to a DV tape so that I could submit the kids' work to the www.archaeologychannel.org website. They haven't added it yet.
Again, thanks to all of you on the forum who helped me with this project. I am still in awe that you were so informative and so kind to a newbie teacher.
Thank you Debbie!
I saw the video again tonight, it's just as great as I remembered. You did get some help here, but that's not what made your project great. A marvellous idea combined with your skill and determination did that. Good to know you're around. I'm waiting for your next animation poject!
