Decklink / Multibridge Multichannel Audio

Hi there... just wondering if anyone has successfully managed to get multichannel audio out of Vegas to tape? We have a Multibridge Pro and can see the VU meters on the deck while we preview the timeline out to Vegas (channels 1,2 and 3,4), but when we go to print the timeline to tape - we only get channels 1,2. We've tried a bunch of different things with the 'enable multi-channel' function, just can't get anything other than one channel. Is this yet another 'Vegas doesn't play well with others' feature?

Thanks.

Which tape format?

SDI interface to the deck?

There are a lot of gotchas with 4-ch audio in and out.

Thanks for the reply... SDI interface to the Deck, yes. Outputting SDI-SD 60i... as I say, when I preview the timeline through the Multibridge, all 4 channels are active and the VU meters on the deck are moving around. But when we print to tape we only get two channel stereo happening nothing is happening on 3 and 4. So the mixer setup in Vegas is correct, and the I/O routing is correct, but it just won't print 4 channels to tape it seems.
