Default Crossfades time

Hi All -

I read this post:
http://mediasoftware.sonypictures.com/forums/ShowMessage.asp?ForumID=4&MessageID=152030

and can't figure out why it's not working for me.
I have vegas 4.0.
-I placed a few images on the timeline as cuts.
-I placed the cursor at the beginning and I pressed CTRL-ALT-rightpointing-arrowkey. The cursor correctly is positioned on the cut. I then press the / on the numeric pad and nothing happens (with and without the numlock).

What I'm trying to do is have a 2 sec crossfades for each cut.
Editing Tab was correctly set.

Thanks!

Is there a frame between the cuts?
You might also try dragging several images up at once, with a default overlay of 2 secs. Also, if your default image length is less than 4 secs, you won't be able to get a 2 sec transition.

Thanks Spot. There was a frame between the cuts that was causing the problem.
All working fine now. Thanks for the quick response!
