Default Folder Creation

I am using DVDA Pro 5.0 and by default it creates a file folder named 'DVD Architect Pro 5.0 Projects' under the users documents folder. I am using a separate drive that is only used for all my movie making folders and files. In fact I have a folder called 'DVD Architect Pro 5.0 Projects' as well as a 'Vegas Pro 9.0 Projects' folder created on this drive. I have looked everywhere within the DVDA Pro Program under Project Properties and Preferences and found nothing indicating the 'DVD Architect Pro 5.0 Projects' folder name. I also have never seen any files created within that folder, and I have no idea what its purpose is. Is there a way to stop DVDA Pro from creating this directory?

You might be talking about an Application Data folder. In which case there's no way to change that. It's just part of what the software needs in order for the program to run, maintain your configuration, etc. It also shouldn't be large enough to matter.

You can control where your Prepared Files (the actual project and data files) are stored though.

After you select Make DVD or Make BluRay, on the Select Operation to Perform screen, click on the Prepare button. On the next screen you can browse and select where your project files are stored and recorded.

You can also set up Windows so that your My Documents folder is set to your second hard drive rather than under Documents and Folders on your C drive. This will automatically ensure that all of your files are stored there!
