define transparent thumbnail for object, DVD-A cannot find in editor

So I create an "Image Only" link within a page.
I turn off "Enable Frame"

I define a transparent .png file as the thumbnail image.

This creates a hidden link, that can be navigated through, I use
it as sort of an imagemap link for the background image.

It renders fine, but once you define a transparent .png as the
thumbnail, then deselect that object, there is no way to reselect
the object in the editor.

The workaround was to create an almost transparent .png file,
with a small rectangle of slightly translucent pixels. In the DVD-A
editor, once this object is deselected, you have to drag the mouse
over this small box to be able to make this object active again
for edit.

I can still create my "imagemap" links, but I have artifact squares
here and there.

You can try to view Object Order, in the Option menu, this will show a small number where the thumbnail is located. Didn't try it, but it might work.

Left-clicking on the background and dragging should select the transparent thumbnail.

LMB drag does make it active.
