Hi all,

I'm just getting a new laptop configured with Vegas 8.
It's a killer power computer - no concerns about it just being too slow for Vegas.

I'm finding that whenever I press play in the timeline (or use the space bar) there is about a 1 second pause before it starts playing through the project.

Any ideas why I'd be having this issue. It's not a huge issue, but it's a pain. I've been working with Vegas since 2001 and never seen this.
