Delete loop region markers?

I give up. I make a loop region selection in the Marker Bar with the Two, Tiny, Yellow Triangles. I can delete Markers. How do I make the irrelevent TTYTs go away. "Markers/Regions - Delete" don't do it.

You can have only one region at a time, so when you make one somewhere else, the one you had goes away (you can cycle through the last 5 with the backspace key).

Just ignore it if you aren't using it.

In Options - Preferences on the Editing tab, turn on the Collapse Loop Region option. Is that what you want?
