Deleting, but keeping tracks in sync

I have two video tracks.
I have identified a segment of video and audio at the beginning I want to delete and then "slide" video one and video two over to take its place. Shortening the overall video

How can I anchor, or group to keep the two tracks and segements in sync?

Duh...figured it out under grouping...sorry, got it..

Double-click on the event you want to delete which makes a time selection for the length of that event. Assuming there is nothing on other tracks within the time selection, hit Ctrl/A, then Delete.
Hit Ctrl/F to post-ripple.

Everything to the right of the time selection has now moved down to where the begining of the time selection was.

Done.
