Dell 27" vs 24" monitor

Anyone have input on the Dell 24" 2407 LCD monitor vs 27" 2707? I had planned on picking up the 24" when it was on sale recently, had to put it off, and now the 27" is only $300 more than the 24". I've read some articles that people don't like the 27" as much, though.

I have not seen the 27" inch monitor in person. I use the 24" inch monitor at home and at work, along with a 20" secondary monitor in each setup. I've been very happy with the dell monitors. The techie-freak in me wants to see the 27" and 30", but right now, I think it would be a little bit of overkill, as I have more than enough desktop space.
