Delta, Vegas, 2000 (again)

So what exactly is the deal? It seems the RME cards work
with Vegas in 2000. But acording to Delta and to others
here the problem is with Vegas software. But how can this
be if the RME cards are working, all inputs and at 24 bit,
how can the problem be the software? I've read to many
conflicting things about this conflict.

At this point, I am ready to just jump into NT (wish me
luck) But first, tell me, will it all work in NT?

I started w/ Vegas Pro on NT and it was a major head ache!
I switched to 98 and all worked well. Just got Vegas Audio
and I'm gonna stay with 98 SE(If it ain't broke....?) Why
don't you try 98, much better than NT!

I sent a Delta card back last year because the Win2k
drivers were a pathetic joke. MAudio tried at that time to
blame Vegas for the problem.

Immediately switched to two Mixtreme 16 channel cards and
have not looked back. Currently running Vegas under Win2K
on a dual processor motherboard - the way Vegas was
designed to be run - with a full 32 I/O to boot ... not to
mention that it is the most stable DAW I have ever had the
experience of working on.

... and who is it that doesn't have their act together?
