Deshaker script not working under Vegas 64

I can't seem to make the JM deshaker script work under Vista 64. When I try, the script goes through all the motions but on the second pass gives a message in the output video that Deshaker can't write this file on the first pass. I believe that the reason is that Vista won't let a script write a file like a logfile directly to the hard-drive. Is there any way around this?

nope thats not it mate..

Vista manages CPU resources differently to XP.
I spent about 90minutes tweaking processing settings... eventually i found tha tweaking the buffers and CPU elements (ie ensuring that AMD or Intel only settings were manualy enabled and not use default.

I did a post about turing OFF MMX and using only openGL for use on quad core systems.

Also it didnt matter which version of Vdeub or Deshaker i ran, the issue with the same.

In any case, Vdub is yet to support SSE4...

You could try running vegas "as administrator", - that often gets round permission issues
