Hi, new user of Vegas P8, finally found software that works with HDV and doesn't screw up my PC!! I've connected my HDR-HC3 to IEEE Firewire with a view to write back to the camera in HDV format. Go through 'Tools' or 'Movie Maker' and get to the 'choose device control mode' screen and its all greyed out. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?
