CoolEdit or Adobe Audition will handle the conversion

Try Forge 7 (trial will work for a month). If what you need is equivalent to "Dialogic VOX ADPCM - 8 kHz, 4-bit, mono" then it should be no problem.

I have a batch of 2,000 files that I will need to convert...Is there a way to batch render these in Forge 7?
Is there anyway to download the codec into Vegas or Batch converter?

What the phone guy told me he needed was - Dialogic OKI ADPCM at 32 kbps. He said that it whould end with .vox

Thanks,
Al

4 bit ADPCM sampled 8000 times per second will yield 32kbps which
is usable on any of the Dialogic cards. The OKI format had a known oveflow
error and is handled correctly by most software that allow OKI as a selection.
This overflow error occured only on loud sections and can be
avoided by reducing your volume when sampling.

Music will not be the best quality but if you emphasize the bass
it will sound better.

The Sonic Foundry Batch Converter will make sort work of this. I got my copy with Vegas Video 3. I don’t know if you can buy it anymore but the latest update is on the Sony web site has two links, one of them for registered users of Vegas 3 or Sound Forge 5 or 6.
